The top 3 scorers of our bee will attend the district-level written spelling bee on January 28^th at SARC. The written test is comprised of 50 words: 15 vocabulary word definitions and 35 words to spell. From that competition, the top 30-35 spellers will move on to the oral spelling bee, which will take place the following day, Saturday, January 29 at Smoky Hill High School. The top 20 spellers earn an opportunity to compete at the Colorado State Spelling Bee.
